Liliana del Barco

Maestra Lily from Lima, Peru has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón (UNIFE) and a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit from the “Commission on Teacher Credentialing”. She operated a Daycare facility in her country for 18 years. In addition, she was a preschool lead teacher in Saint John’s Lutheran Daycare in Pennsylvania for 4 years. After relocating to California in 2012 she was a preschool lead teacher at the Welcome Amigos in San Mateo until June 2016. Lily, then opened the family friendly Sonrisas Spanish Immersion Program in San Mateo County, in the summer of 2016.

Edith Pacheco

Maestra Edith originally from Mexico City has been an assistant teacher at 2 preschools in the bay area since 2001. She earned her Associate Degree in Child Development at Cañada College. Before joining Maestra Lily in creating the Sonrisas Spanish Immersion Program she was a lead teacher at Welcome Amigos Spanish Immersion from 2012 to 2016.
