    Meet Maestra Lily! Originally from Lima, Peru, Lily has dedicated over 20 years to nurturing and educating young minds. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UNIFE in Peru, alongside a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. After successfully running her own daycare in Peru for 18 years, she brought her talents to the U.S., serving as a lead preschool teacher in both Pennsylvania and California between 2006 – 2016. Driven by her passion for early education, Lily established the Sonrisas Spanish Immersion Program in the summer of 2016 to create a nurturing, community-focused learning space for Bay Area Peninsula families.

    Maestra Edith originally from Mexico City has been an assistant teacher at 2 preschools in the bay area since 2001. She earned her Associate Degree in Child Development at Cañada College. Before joining Maestra Lily in creating the Sonrisas Spanish Immersion Program she was a lead teacher at Welcome Amigos Spanish Immersion from 2012 to 2016.
